Digital Imaging and Quick Preview

Next, we'll take precise digital impressions of your teeth and bite using our state-of-the-art digital imaging. Then, we'll take photos of your teeth, smile, and facial profile. Immediately after our scan, a treatment plan with before and after photos of your ideal smile is formulated. The plan is also reviewed and approved with our partner orthodontist from Invisalign.

Fitting & Next Steps

When your aligners arrive, you’ll come back to our office so we can ensure they fit correctly. We’ll give you detailed guidance on how to wear and care for your aligners. Typically, each set is worn for 1-2 weeks, for 20-22 hours each day. You'll visit us approximately every 6 weeks to receive your next sets of aligners and allow us to monitor your progress, ensuring your smile transformation is on track.

A graduate of one of the top dental schools in the country, the University of California San Francisco, Dr. Blystone combines her excellent education with a knack for putting patients at ease and a passion for creating beautiful smiles. Because family is important to Dr. Blystone, she and her husband decided to move back to Kentucky to raise their family closer to her parents. Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
